Laura McMullen
Executive Assistant to the ProvostLaura McMullen began working at Hope in December 2016. She has also worked in program management, office management and event planning roles at Calvin College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Professional Experience
Beyond working in academia, Laura has also enjoyed several years of working with immigrants and refugees.
Laura holds an M.A. in TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages) and has spent a decade teaching, both as a secondary school teacher in Orange County Schools in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and an English as an additional language teacher to adult learners in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As part of her service to the TESOL community, she also served for several years as an editor for the Christian English Language Educators Association newsletter.
